Nasmans Dashboard
What is Nasmans Dashboard?
The Nasmans Dashboard, most easily accessible through https://nasmans.nl or https://dashboard.nasmans.nl , is a page where you can find quick access to the most used services.
Currently the dashboard supports the following services:
- Overseerr - the request system for the Nasmans Plex-server
- Nasmans Library - a portal to download eBooks or synchronize your Kobo eReader
- Plex Rewind - kind of like Spotify Wrapped/YouTube Rewind but for the Nasmans Plex-server
- Invites - the invite system for the Nasmans Plex-server
All of these are listed on the dashboard, press any of their icons to be immediately redirected. Of course, the dashboard provides access to this Wiki.
The dashboard also contains a few widgets. Most notably the current statistics for Overseerr, a list of the most recent requests, and a release calendar. These will provide a quick insight in the request's current status and (yes, Kyle and Esteban, especially for you) when the requested content will be released. If a request has been accepted in Overseerr and the content is not yet available on Plex: IT'S PROBABLY NOT RELEASED YET.
You can install the dashboard as an "app" on your phone. Open the dashboard in your browser, tap the menu and click "Add to Home screen" (command may be listed somewhat differently on different OS'es'/browsers/versions, tested with Android/Chrome/130.0.6723.73) and press "Install". Note that using this approach, you will not always see a progress bar while pages/services are loading. The app may seem to be frozen, but just have patience for a few seconds. All the different services can be installed this way, if you prefer to have just one instead of the dashboard.
NOTE: This approach does not work on iOS devices. Apple has been blatantly ignoring community support tickets about this issue for about a dozen years and has been calling this bug a "security feature". I may have found a workaround, but have not yet been able to test it due to not owning any (recent) Apple products. The (as of yet untested) approach for Apple-devices is as follows:
- Enable airplane mode
- Open Safari and type the full (uncloaked) URL in the address bar (https://dashboard.nasmans.nl/board/Nasmans)
- Press enter. Safari will fail to load the page
- Add the app to your homescreen by pressing the AirDrop icon and pressing "Add to Homescreen"
- Disable airplane mode
